iHEALTH researchers present at Bootcamp organized by IIBM
The Institute of Biological and Medical Engineering (IIBM) of the Universidad Católica organized its Bootcamp 2023 from January 16 to 20 with the aim of providing general programming tools and mathematical methods to solve problems in medicine and biology.
The professors in charge of the talks were also iHEALTH researchers: René Botnar, Francisco Sahli and María Rodríguez.
The main objective of this Bootcamp is to prepare future students of the IIBM postgraduate programs with the tools that will be necessary to be successful in the different courses of the programs.
In this way, the students were able to learn the basic concepts of the Python and Matlab programming languages for scientific computing, calculus, linear algebra, and image processing intuitions. All of the above always focused on solving interdisciplinary problems with special attention to the necessary computer and programming tools.
