Four researchers from iHEALTH have been included in an international ranking of scientific impact.

Director of iHEALTH, Dr. Claudia Prieto, along with the institute's lead researchers, Dr. Domingo Mery, Dr. René Botnar, and Dr. Pablo Estévez, are included in the ranking compiled by Elsevier.

The ranking identifies the top 2% of most cited scientists across various disciplines, making it one of the most prestigious recognitions globally. The selection criteria are based on the c-score, considering both self-citations and citations by other researchers.

This latest version is derived from Scopus data, capturing the landscape up to the end of 2022, as of October 1, 2023.

Among the top 100,000 researchers in the ranking, the lead researchers of iHEALTH, Dr. Domingo Mery and Dr. René Botnar, both from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, stand out, along with Dr. Pablo Estévez from the University of Chile.

Furthermore, the director of iHEALTH and also an academic at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, Dr. Claudia Prieto, appears within the top 2% of most distinguished scientists in her field.
