Title: 4d flow in congenital heart disease: a revolution in cardiac imaging

Abstract: The topic of this talk is about the impact of the 4D flow imaging technique on congenital heart disease evaluation by cardiac MRI.

Bio: Francesca is a pediatric cardiologist and the director of the Adult and Pediatric cardiology Unit in Bergamo, Ospedale Papa Giovanni XXIII, Italy. She is a visiting lecturer in King's College Biomedical Engineering Lab and also at the Pasteur Institute in Paris. Francesca is an active member in the SCMR society and was chair of Ped/ CHD section in 2022-2023 and also an MRI liaison of the European Society of Pediatric Cardiology AEPC.

Title: Deep Learning-based Super Resolution for 3D whole-heart coronary MR angiography

Abstract: This research explores super resolution techniques for Coronary MR Angiography, using Deep Learning to enhance image quality while reducing acquisition time. The study adapts and evaluates ESDR and ESRGAN networks in a 3D framework applied for this particular case, achieving promising results for 2x and 4x super-resolution reconstruction.
